Creating Abstracts and Posters

We are so ready for in-person presentations and CMSA Detroit dinner conferences! Have you considered becoming a presenter? Although formal conference presentations can be intimidating for the novice, consider starting out by preparing a poster presentation. Many of you are involved in innovative practice areas and programs. Perhaps your program has implemented effective quality improvement initiatives.  Have you or your team conducted an evidence-based research project?  Learn more about ways to share your experience with fellow case managers, gain exposure and showcase your program.

Dr. Patricia Cameron of Oakland University will present the structure and requirements for creating conference abstracts and posters.  These types of scholarly communication need to follow a specific format in order to clearly communicate knowledge to peers.  A step-by-step process for creating compelling abstracts and posters will be presented as well as a review of a new poster format.
